I started my professional life as a proprietary software developer, but I always hoped I will be able to build a business using freedom software. This is my personal log while building that business.

I’m interested in freedom software or freedomware for short (the same as “free software as in free speech, not as in free beer” but it ‘s more clear in my opinion, please see the GNU Project’s page on free software philosophy), freedom culture (please see Lawrence Lessig’s book called Free Culture) and freedom services (see Autonomo.us page on Free services). I believe we can build an entirely freedom society, but I don’t try to force freedom upon people who do not want to receive it.

I am a member of Cluenet.org and I hope I will host there many freedom services. Right now I am passionate about building a business incubator for Freedom Services and an AJAX graphic pattern modelling site.

    Salut Bogdan.
Ma numesc Ruta Gabriel, sunt din Bucuresti, si am subscris de curand la Bucuresti Linux Users Group (blug.ro) si sunt incepator in Linux.
Daca ai ceva timp liber si vrei sa ne cunoastem si sa stam de vorba in legatura cu Linux-ul as aprecia foarte mult mult. Am nevoie de sfaturi si ceva indrumari caci sunt la inceput de drum.
Toate cele bune si numai bine.
